As women, we are always nurturing and caring for others – it’s in our biological make-up. But this is often at the expense of the most important person in your life – yourself.
If you are willing to drop everything to help friends, neighbours or any people affected by the floods, remember to decompress and release stress and emotions from your body. It’s important to nurture your own nervous system first so that you have the energy and capacity to be there for others.
Here’s a link 8 minute video to help remove tension and stress from your body. Can be helpful at night just before bed to help you sleep. (Note:You can skip the pre-amble and go to 1:05 for the beginning of the exercise.)
