How to Eat Well on a Budget

One of the key components to healthy eating is lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. That’s why I subscribe to the idea of plant based diets. Not only is it an exceptional way to get your fill of valuable vitamins and minerals it can be done without breaking the budget.

Those of you who know me will know that I am always banging on about connecting in with Natures Cycles and Seasonal Eating is just another way to do this. By gaining an understanding of what fruits and vegetables are becoming ripe and easily available each season, we can buy and eat those fresh ingredients. Because they are in season, they are usually abundant and subsequently inexpensive. Not only are you gaining benefit from fresh produce, you are connecting in with the natural cycles of the season and mother nature. I call that a win win!!
