What is Reiki and how is Mardi's energy healing different?
Reiki is a traditional Japanese healing energy practice, sometimes called “Healing Hands” or “laying on hands” therapy. It is built on the premise that we all have an unseen life-force that is comprised of energy for us to be alive.
Similar to other natural therapies, Mardi’s energy healing principles works on the premise that “dis-ease” begins in one’s energy field before it shows up as physical ailments. Energy healing works for the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating beneficial effects on all levels. It helps remove blockages and bring forward feelings of peace, security and well-being.
Mardi’s practice involves observation of “feeling into” your energetic field where she acts as a channel to draw on universal and earth’s natural energy to re-balance any lags and blocks to bring your body/mind/spirit back to a state of equilibrium. Mardi has now added sound bowls and other vibrational medicine tools to her practice.
Regular healing sessions with Mardi can create lasting results because all aspects of your mind/body/spirit are brought back into balance at once.
