What is an Intention? And how you can create one that benefits your life.

Have you heard of manifesting? It is a way of bringing into your life all that you wish for and it can be done through stating intentions. Below we are going to talk about intention setting and how you can create and manifest all that you want in your life by setting powerful intentions.

Words are important

Set your intention in the current tense as if you already have it. For example if you want to bring more happiness into your life, rather than saying “I want to be happy” state your intention as “I am happy”

Feelings matter

If you state the intention, but a little voice inside your head says – that’s not true or you can’t do that, then that is the feeling that you are cultivating. Instead, imagine a time in your life when you truly felt the thing you want to create: in the example above – the time when you felt happy. Now bring to mind that memory and imagine your body in that time – how you felt, the things you saw and heard, really feel the feelings of happiness. Then state your intention. If it is still hard to say without the little voice inside your head piping up that it’s not true, then you can say I am becoming happier in my life ……(or whatever the thing is that you want). It is hard for the voice to argue against the fact that this is what you are working toward.
