I have been a busy little bee during this month preparing for my 5 webinars during Natural Medicine Week, which is finally here – YAAAYYY!

One of the biggest issues in modern day western society these days is STRESS. One of the biggest problems is that we can’t “out think” stress. It’s something that goes on within our body despite, (or even because of) our thoughts. Stress not only causes our brains to work less efficiently, it also puts our digestion and immune systems on hold leading to an increased chance of infection and poor gut health. If this is starting to sound a bit too familiar have no fear: you CAN do something about it which doesn’t involve taking substances to “calm your nerves”.
The vagus nerve is the longest cranial nerve and it turns out, as it weaves in and around our body, this nerve can be successful stimulated to reduce our stress response. This Wednesday (24th May at 6:00pm), I will be discussing this and describing some very useful natural techniques that you can use to consciously bring you out of a anxious and stressful state. Thursday this week (and Monday next week), I will be discussing one of my favourite topics: Menopause and Perimenopause. There’s a whole raft of reasons why, not the least being that you are going through a phase of life I like to call the 2nd Puberty! where your hormone levels are altering and your brain and body have not yet caught up!
